Established
DTW (Down Town Works) was established with 300 sq. ft.
Later this place grew to 2000 sq. ft.

Built
Built the fastest scooter in the world and broke the 1/4th mile drag record

Small Garage
As a hobby started a small garage at home
Later this garage turned into a veritable R&D centre
From this were born innovative system for powerful motors
A traditional family of Silk Industrialists – nobody would accept a “Grease Monkey”
So most of the work started after sunset and would finish it off before sunrise
1979
Power on Tracks
Advice from family not to risk my life and limbs, instead to show my power on tracks
Hence it initiated me to start professional racing.
A lot of practice combined with tricks added to my talent of a racer
1978
Motorcycle Presented
End of school life- college life started with a motorcycle presented by my father
High speed riding on Bangalore’s MG road and Brigade road became a way of life
Met with an accident on Brigade road
This accident changed my whole life
1977
Began at the age of 10
Would repair anything that went wrong at home- be it a mixer, a clock, a watch, a bicycle, a television later it went on to a scooter
